More Things Change…
While playing, he got big sliver in hand. He didn’t fuss or cry much about it. The big sliver came out, and the sliver stab wound doesn’t seem to hurt him, but the redness and one instance of him feeling something like burning in his hand, which had us worried and -v- taking him to see a doctor.
Doctor said everything appears normal, but we need to watch the red mark to make sure it doesn’t grow; watch his temperature and give him some antibiotics.
It seems like only yesterday when it was about every four months we had to give Ezra antibiotics for ear infections or had to worry about some sickness. While I am not as freaked out about Ezra’s wound as I was while he was younger, I still worry and that will never change.
